OrderLine ("we," "us," or "our") operates the OrderLine SMS ordering platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — whether you are a business using our service or a customer placing an order through it.
Business accounts. When you sign up, we collect your business name, email address, phone number, business type, and location. We also store a hashed password for portal access and any notification preferences you configure.
Menu data. If you upload a PDF menu, we store a structured version of it in our database. The original PDF file is stored temporarily during processing and then removed.
Customer order data. When a customer texts your OrderLine number, we store their phone number and the full conversation history associated with that order. This is used to confirm the order, notify your business, and enable reorder functionality.
Opt-out records. If a customer texts STOP, we record that opt-out so we do not send them further messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with third parties for marketing purposes.
OrderLine relies on the following sub-processors to deliver the service:
OrderLine enables businesses to receive order messages from customers via SMS. Customers initiate contact by texting a business's OrderLine number. By texting that number, customers consent to receive automated responses related to their order.
Standard message and data rates may apply. Customers can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and HELP for support information. Businesses using OrderLine are responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with applicable telemarketing and SMS laws, including the TCPA.
Order history and conversation records are retained indefinitely to support reorder features and business analytics. Active session data in Redis expires after 2 hours. If you close your account, you may request deletion of your business data and associated order records by contacting us.
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Sessions are managed server-side with HTTP-only cookies. We use TLS for all data in transit. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your business account data at any time by emailing support@orderlinesms.com. For requests regarding a specific customer's data, we will respond within a reasonable time.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify business account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
